Workshop on Cloud Computing

A workshop on Cloud Computing and Agile was organized for B.Tech students at TIIPS Campus Greater Noida to enhance the knowledge of the students regarding cloud computing,. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sumit Srivastava(Scrum Master)from RIRCM, Noida.

Presented by: Mr. Sumit Srivastava. The aim was to share knowledge between two mature networks with overlapping interests in cloud computing. The programme included a rich spread of experts covering cloud providers, software/service providers and end users.

 

Faculty Development Programme

The FDP program on Research Methodology was organized by TIIPS. It was a practical and interactive program aimed to develop an understanding in designing and carrying out research and guide teachers for research papers and dissertation. This FDP offered a introduction on identifying and stating a problem for research, Formulation of Hypothesis and Identification of Variables, practical hands on approach to use data analysis tools, software package-SPSS, and introduction to sampling and citation. It provided a comprehensive understanding of research methodology that can better equip faculty to effectively guide their own research. Faculty Members were introduced to various research methodologies, statistical concepts and quantitative techniques. The key speaker in this program were

Workshop on Photography: Art and Technology

TIIPS, organised one day workshop for BA(JMC) students on photography "Art and Technology" experts shared their experience in cinematography which was helpful for the students for their professional skill enrichment.

 

Art of Advocacy at Saket District Court, New Delhi

The workshop on Art of Advocacy was organised by Together we Can- an NGO known for the welfare of the underprivileged and conducting law seminars across the country, on 23rd November 2019 at the Rohini Court. The first semester students of BALLB participated in the workshop. The students learned to understand-skills of the lawyer and effectiveness of good communication, develop-analytical and research skills along with people skill for good advocacy, equip- oneself in handling witness and also controlling witness as a part of advocacy, provide hands-on experience of advocacy skill through prompt simulation.

E- Waste

Work shop on E- Waste Management

A workshop on E-Waste Management was organised by TIIPS campus, Greater Noida. This workshop was conducted by an NGO (Karo Sambhav) in association of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt of India for making students and faculty members aware of serious effects of E-Waste on environment and how to reduce, recycle and reduce it.

 

Work shop on Digital Marketing

A workshop on "Digital Marketing" was organized for B.Tech, BCA, BBA and BJMC students at TIIPS Campus Greater Noida to enhance the knowledge aspect of the students regarding Digital marketing, by Mr. Mukteesh Sharma and Mr Danish from Mapping Skills Pvt. Ltd Noida. Students participated in every activity and they got to know how to work practically on this marketing scheme. Speakers explained each topic in a comprehensive way.

General Knowledge Quiz

General Knowledge Quiz competition held on 25-08-2019 was conducted as a part of Engineering programme at the Seminar Hall with the support from Quiz club of TIIPS GN. The competition was aimed at improving the general awareness among engineering students and developing the knowledge and excellence base among the students through healthy and highly motivating meet. The students crammed themselves up with a lot of general knowledge for the quiz. The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation of students from various branches. The competition among Engineering students, as budding engineers students must be aware of the things happening around the world along with technical knowledge.

Seminar on Basics of Computing

For students of B.Tech programme, a Guest Lecture was organized on “Basics of Computing” on 15th October 2019. The guest lecture was delivered by eminent speaker: Dr. Manoj Kr Gupta from RDIS. Through this seminar on computing student learn how to use computers to manage, process, and communicate information. Computing is a critical, integral component of modern industrial technology. Major computing disciplines include computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, information systems, and information technology.

Seminar on Future skills internship &up-scale jobs-in for BTech by Saurabh

Ms Tarushi Acharya, Head T&P cell of TIIPS, Greater Noida organized a seminar on 23rd June 2022 at seminar hall. The key speakers Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj CEO of “Learn and Built company” and Mr Mukul Gujral CEO OF “University Alliance”, delivered lectures on futuristic IT technologies with an aim to council students to upgrade their profile with the of internships to full fill industries’ demand after completion of their course . Through this seminar students got useful tips on choosing the right technology for their career, besides communication, interpersonal and other critical skills in the job interview process. The Seminar focused on some emerging technologies like full stack web development, DevOps & cloud computing, data science with AI& ML, IoT and embedded systems, Java & mobile App development and some non-technical topics like UI and UX, digital marketing etc.. More than 20 faculty members 100 students participated in this seminar.
